SOUPS Conference 2015

The eleventh international Symposium on Usable Privacy and Security (SOUPS) will be held July 22-24, 2015 at Carleton University in Ottawa. This is its first time in Canada and will bring together an interdisciplinary group of researchers and practitioners in human computer interaction, security, and privacy.
Keynote speaker Val Steeves, a criminology professor from UOttawa, will be speaking about “Online Privacy for Kids: What Works, What Doesn’t”
The program also features technical papers, workshops and tutorials, a poster session, panels and invited talks, and lightning talks. In addition, there will be one-day sessions on:
- a multidisciplinary tutorial on cybercrime with industry, law enforcement, legal and sociology experts
- a workshop on inclusive privacy and security
- a workshop on usable privacy and security education
- a workshop on methods of understanding users’ privacy attitudes and concerns
SOUPS 2015 will be held in cooperation with USENIX and ACM SIGCHI.

- industry and government representatives with interest in the usability/human factors aspects of computer security/privacy
