Carleton University Research Office
The Carleton University Research Office (CURO) is the department within the Office of the Vice-President (Research and International) that supports research activity in the Carleton University faculties.
CURO helps faculty members to learn about research funding opportunities, and encourages faculty to collaborate with their colleagues at Carleton, at other universities and with scientists at other public and private sector institutions. CURO also represents the University with external agencies.
CURO personnel help faculty members to prepare grant proposals, to deal with contracts, and to prepare reports and budgets. CURO also acts as a bridge between a faculty member and the University departments and services that support varied research programs, such as Physical Plant and Research Accounting.
