Carleton Prof. Trevor Findlay will announce the findings of a two-year research project on the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) at 2017 Dunton Tower on July 10, 2012 at 12:30 p.m.

Unleashing the Nuclear Watchdog: Strengthening and Reform of the IAEA is a comprehensive study of IAEA conducted by The Centre for International Governance Innovation (CIGI) and the Canadian Centre for Treaty Compliance (CCTC). The report by Findlay, professor of international affairs at NPSIA, director of the CCTC and a senior fellow at CIGI, analyzes all aspects of the agency’s mandate and operations – from major programs on safety, security and the peaceful uses of nuclear energy to governance, management and finance. It makes multiple recommendations, both strategic and programmatic, on strengthening and reforming the agency.
