Carleton University’s Daniel Rosenbloom, a research associate in sustainable energy policy with the School of Public Policy and Administration (SPPA), and Simon Langlois, a PhD candidate in the Norman Paterson School of International Affairs, under the direction of Prof. James Meadowcroft, recently published a policy brief presenting the energy-related and economic benefits of Building-Integrated Photovoltaics (BIPV) in Canada. The brief also proposes a series of policy steps to improve the adoption of this technology.

“This brief outlines the current policy framework surrounding BIPV and suggests a viable strategy for this technology in Canada,” said Rosenbloom. “This policy brief lays the groundwork for unlocking the environmental and industrial potential of this promising energy technology.”
