Faith and Arts Ottawa will present The god Monologues, a piece of documentary theatre based on the research of Carleton’s Tom Sherwood, adjunct research professor in the Department of Sociology and Anthropology and the United Church senior scholar.

“The god Monologues presents the voices of young adult Canadians talking about how they see the world, especially the Church and organized religion,” said Sherwood. “Many identify themselves as SBNR – spiritual but not religious. I have collected responses from more than 400 young adults who have given me permission to publish excerpts from their statements. ”

Sherwood presented almost 60 of the statements of faith he collected as part of his research and Faith and Arts Ottawa developed them into a final script.
