Carleton University Lead to Win entrepreneurs, George Tanev and Peyo Tzolov, owners of web-solutions company T2Engine, are launching the innovative Sit&Work platform.

T2Engine specializes in web-based solutions that simplify access to workspace and recreation facilities. Sit&Work, a platform tailored to handle the needs of dynamic workspaces, is one of two products the company offers. PlayToday, a booking platform that consolidates the availability of recreation facilities so that users can spend less time searching and more time playing, was the company’s first product.

Tanev and Tzolov are students in Carleton’s Technology Innovation Management (TIM) program. T2Engine has received a Green rating from Lead to Win, which supports entrepreneurs as they launch and grow their ventures. Each Lead to Win venture is expected to generate annual revenue of $1 million within three years.

T2Engine began development on Sit&Work after receiving a request from the Carleton’s entrepreneurship Accelerator. The Accelerator needed a workspace management solution for venture owners who use the space, and T2Engine was approached based on the company’s strength in space booking platforms.

As Sit&Work’s first customer, Carleton entrepreneurs will use the platform to book meeting rooms, workspaces and classrooms.

“The Accelerator is a very dynamic environment,” said Tanev. “We wanted a simple way for entrepreneurs to find out what is available, along with a visual representation of the space and a simple calendar. Entrepreneurs can easily book a space and then get back to work.”

Tanev and Tzolov are excited by the simplicity of the platform, as well as its transparency and ability to foster collaboration among entrepreneurs. And they credit Carleton’s TIM program, as well as Lead to Win, for helping them get the product off the ground.

“The people behind the Lead to Win program are the engine behind what we have been able to create,” said Tanev. “The passion and effort they put into our venture gave us confidence in what we are doing. The belief they had in us helped us believe in ourselves.”
