Canada\u2019s Trade Commissioner Service (TCS) invites you to participate in the\u202f<\/span>Horizon Europe and Canada Online Matchmaking Event: Bridging the Atlantic \u2013 Health 2025<\/span><\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In late April the European Commission will publish all 2025\u202f<\/span>Horizon Europe<\/span><\/a>\u202fproject calls \u2013 see\u202f<\/span>draft list shared by Science Business<\/span><\/a>. The budget for 2025 Health calls is likely C$744 million, to open on May 6 and close on September 18, 2025 TBC.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This online matchmaking event will take place on\u202f<\/span>Thursday, March 27,\u202f<\/span><\/b>from 11am to 1pm ET\u202f<\/span>(4pm to 6pm Brussels\/CET – note non-aligned daylight savings March 9-30, 2025)<\/span><\/i>.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first part will provide an overview of the calls with best practices, followed by partner countries\u2019 strengths and interests. The second part will be moderated breakout\u202frooms where participants can share their two-minute pitches and connect with potential partners.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

ACTION<\/span><\/b>: All are invited to\u202f<\/span>REGISTER<\/span><\/b><\/a>\u202fand\u202fprovide their pitch for the project call(s) they wish to pursue for possible partnering.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

For this event Canada\u2019s Mission to the European Union is working closely with\u202f<\/span>EIT Global Outreach<\/span><\/b><\/a>, the global arm of\u202fthe\u202f<\/span>European Institute of Innovation & Technology<\/span><\/a>\u202f- Europe\u2019s largest innovation network and\u202f<\/span>National Contact Points<\/span><\/a>\u202f(NCPs)\u202ffrom\u202f<\/span>Canada, France, Ireland and the UK<\/span><\/b>, who all will be inviting their respective networks to participate in this online matchmaking event. This event will be recorded and shared.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n
