\n 2023 REALISE Seed Grant (pilot)\u00a0\u00a0\n <\/h1>\n \n \n <\/header>\n\n <\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n

The REALISE Seed Grant is an internal funding program, funded by the Office of the Vice-President (Research, Innovation and International) and offered on a one-year pilot basis, to initiate new interfaculty, multidisciplinary research collaborations, which have the potential to lead to external funding proposals or joint publications within two years. <\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the spirit of the REALISE Series, which supports interfaculty collaboration in both emerging and existing areas of expertise within Carleton, the 2023 REALISE Seed Grant (pilot) is an open call for all disciplines and subject areas.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Available funding<\/span><\/b> <\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The pilot of this internal funding program will support approximately 8 seed grants, each with a maximum value of $12,000, to help jump start a new collaboration, a new multidisciplinary team, or incentivize the early stages of a multidisciplinary research project. Funding is meant to cover <\/span>collaboration and communication costs and\/or<\/span> preliminary research costs for a term of 1 year. While proposals should be for 1 year in duration, all seed grants will come with an automatic, one-year, no-cost extension. <\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n
