Created in 2013, the Ministry of Research and Innovation (MRI) supports the full cycle of research, innovation and entrepreneurship \u2014 from scientific discoveries to translating those discoveries into commercial use. Supporting and preparing our researchers, entrepreneurs and firms to succeed, compete and create jobs of the future, supports the government’s plan to invest in people, build modern infrastructure and support a dynamic and innovative business climate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Applications to MRI funding opportunities are expected to articulate links between the research proposed and Ontario’s Innovation Agenda<\/a>. The Research Office has considerable experience in successfully addressing the strategic importance to Ontario sections, contact the Research Office<\/a> well in advance in the proposal development phase to discuss.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
