Funding Value and Duration<\/h2>\n

Up to $300,000 for up to 3 years.<\/p>\n

The amount that may be requested is expected to be within a range of $50,000-$100,000 per year. Budgets must not exceed $300,000.<\/p>\n

Indirect costs are ineligible.<\/p>\n

Overview<\/h2>\n

MS Canada\u2019s Discovery Research Grants support innovative, investigator-led projects that advance our understanding of multiple sclerosis and improve the lives of those affected by multiple sclerosis in four key impact areas: advance treatment and care; enhance well-being; understand and halt disease progression; and prevent MS. Funding is available for both biomedical and clinical\/population health research.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Eligibility Criteria<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

At the time of application and throughout the funding period, applicants must hold an academic or research appointment which allows the individual to pursue the proposed research project and engage in independent research activities, including supervise trainees and publish research activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each applicant may submit only one application.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
