Overview<\/h2>\n

Applications are submitted by publishers in collaboration with authors and grants are paid directly to the publisher; the application is not submitted through Carleton.<\/p>\n

A Scholarly Book Awards Translation Grant provides $30,000 to offset the cost of translation and publication.<\/p>\n

Funding Value and Duration<\/h2>\n

$30,000 annually (April 1 to March 31).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Eligibility Criteria<\/h2>\n

Canadian authors and publishers of scholarly books in the humanities and social sciences are eligible to apply for the Scholarly Book Awards. Applications are submitted by publishers, in collaboration with authors.<\/p>\n
