All research involving humans conducted by faculty, staff or students at Carleton University&nbsp;must be approved by a CUREB.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong class=\"myprefix-text-bold\">Please note:<\/strong> Board expertise will also be taken into consideration when protocols are submitted to CUREB-A or CUREB-B for review, see the specific Board page for more information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"cureb-submission-forms\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">CUREB Submission Forms<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Revised CUREB Submission Forms are online. We have completed a substantial revision of our submission forms, which are available now on our website in the <a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/researchethics-old\/forms-and-templates\/\">Forms and Templates<\/a> page, click on <a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/researchethics-old\/forms\/\">Ethics Application Forms<\/a>.\u00a0 Please use these revised forms for all submissions.\u00a0 If you have downloaded copies of any older forms, please do not use them any longer as the new forms have changed and re-focused many of the questions to allow us to better assess the relevant aspects of your study.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the new forms, for most questions, we have added a link to Instructions to give some background and additional clarification as to what we are looking for in each section.&nbsp; We hope you will find this to be helpful, particularly for those using the form for the first time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"subscribe-now\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Subscribe Now<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Get the Latest News from the Research Ethics Board<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Office of Research Ethics is launching a newsletter for researchers doing human participants\u2019 studies, where you can receive periodic updates on REB announcements, new policies and forms, and other relevant information.
