Carleton’s Industry and Partnership Services (IPS) team invites you and your colleagues to a webinar on Intellectual Property Foundations and Patents 101. 

This webinar will address:

• The different types of Intellectual Property protection (patent, trademark, copyright, industrial design)
• What makes an invention patentable?
• Inventorship
• Case study:  from idea to patent

The webinar will be presented by Caroline Lefebvre, an Intellectual property advisor for the Canadian Intellectual Property Office (CIPO). There will be an opportunity for you to interact with Caroline and ask questions following her presentation. The IPS team will be on the call to answer questions relating to Carleton’s policy on Intellectual Property and the services that IPS provides to support Innovation Transfer and IP protection.
