Bhagya brings considerable experience in fostering the innovation landscape. Her previous work with the Government of Sri Lanka involved developing technology transfer and commercialization frameworks and spearheading technology development projects in rural communities.

Bhagya’s current responsibilities include:

• Promoting and assisting faculty with the invention disclosure process
• Evaluating the commercial potential of Carleton innovations
• Developing and implementing marketing strategies
