The program recruits members each year based on thematic areas. The CIFAR research programs currently accepting applications are:

Eligibility
Applicants must be tenure track Assistant Professors (not yet tenured) who started their first position (post-PhD) no earlier than July 1, 2021 and no later than December 31, 2025. Special consideration may be given to those who have taken parental leave or have exceptional circumstances.
Deadline
- The Office of the Vice-President (Research and International) deadline (Approval Form and application): October 29, 2025
- Submission to sponsor: November 5, 2025
