Overview
The John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation offers fellowships to exceptional individuals in pursuit of scholarship in any field of knowledge and creation in any art form, under the freest possible conditions.
Value and Duration
The Foundation does not disclose the amounts awarded or guarantee that it will fully fund the proposed project, nor does it ask applicants to request a specific amount at the time of application.
Grants are intended to support projects ranging from 6-12 months.
Special Requirements
The candidate’s home faculty must approve the teaching release funded through this fellowship.
