Large Infrastructure Fund
The Large Infrastructure Fund ensures that institutions in Ontario have competitive, state-of-the-art infrastructure to engage in world-leading research and technology development. It enables institutions to capitalize on their research strengths by investing in facilities that bring together researchers from a range of disciplines, as well as technology experts and industry partners to generate new ideas. These collaborations stimulate technology development and support the growth of strong regional economies. The scope of these initiatives spans the natural, social and health sciences, engineering, humanities, arts and interdisciplinary research.
It co-funds infrastructure acquisitions alongside the Innovation Fund through the Canada Foundation for Innovation (CFI IF).
Visit the Government of Ontario website for more information on the Ontario Research Fund: Large Infrastructure Fund (ORF LIF).
