Time to read: 2 minutes

The Small Infrastructure Fund provides research institutions with funding to support infrastructure needs, such as modern facilities and equipment. Specifically, it helps cover the costs of acquiring/renewing research equipment, including specimens, scientific collections, computer software or information databases. It co-funds infrastructure acquisitions with the John R. Evans Leaders Fund through the Canada Foundation for Innovation (CFI JELF).

Visit the Government of Ontario website for more information on the Ontario Research Fund: Small Infrastructure Fund (ORF SIF).
