Canadian Internet Registration Authority: Net Good Grants
Net Good Grants fund community-led internet projects to build a resilient, trusted and secure internet for all Canadians. Funding is available for infrastructure, online safety and policy engagement projects that prioritize benefits for Northern, rural and Indigenous communities, as well as students (kindergarten to grade 12, and post-secondary).

Value and Duration
Typical grants range from approximately $25,000 to $50,000, with a maximum of $100,000 for one year.
Eligibility
Organizations must be based in Canada and projects, while they can have a broader impact, must benefit Canadians. University researchers are required to provide a letter confirming the lead researcher’s employment by the academic institution.

Special Requirements
- Academic researchers must provide a CV and a letter of employment. Please allow three to five business days to secure your letter.
- Letters required from community partners/participants.
- Include 15% allowable for project administrative costs.
- Sample application form with project plans, community support letters and budgets.

- Submit an internal Carleton Approval Form through our central awards management database cuResearch.
- Submit an external application to the Canadian Internet Registration Authority.
