College of New Scholars, Artists and Scientists

The Royal Society of Canada (RSC) administers prestigious awards in recognition of outstanding achievement.

The College of New Scholars, Artists and Scientists are for Canadians and Permanent Residents who are in the early stages of their career and have demonstrated exceptional accomplishment.

Duration

College membership is for seven years.

Eligibility

Candidates must have completed their PhD within the last 15 years (on or after January 1, 2010), with extensions of up to three years granted for eligible career interruptions.

College nominees must be Canadian citizens or permanent residents for at least three years.

Deadlines

• Registration form: September 15, 2025
• Submission to sponsor: December 15, 2025
