Overview

The Dorothy Killam Fellowships support early-to-mid career scholars of exceptional ability by granting time to pursue research projects of broad significance and widespread interest within the disciplines of the humanities, social sciences, natural sciences, health sciences, engineering or studies linking any of these disciplines.

Value and Duration

$160,000 over two years.

Eligibility

Typically, applicants are mid-career researchers who completed their PhD no more than 15 years prior, though special circumstances may result in applicants being more or less than 15 years post-PhD.

Special Requirements

The candidate’s home faculty must approve the release time from employment funded through this fellowship.

Submitting Your Nomination Package

The Office of the Vice-President (Research, Innovation and International) (OVPRII) coordinates the submission of the nomination package.

An internal cuResearch Approval Form is needed prior to submission.
