Mitacs Special Call: Enhanced Funding For Postdocs

Mitacs is pleased to announce a time-limited offer: up to $75,000 in research funding per year for three years to postdocs applying to the Mitacs Accelerate program.

Eligibility: This offer is open to postdoctoral fellows registered at Canadian academic institutions who are pursuing applied research in partnership with a company, not-for-profit organization, municipality, or hospital. All standard Accelerate criteria and terms and conditions apply, and the application process is the same; the only difference is the potential award value. (Please note that this offer cannot be combined with any tri-council joint applications, including NSERC)

Deadline: Applications seeking this time-limited offer must be submitted to Carleton by 4:30pm on December 17, 2025.
