MS Canada: Discovery Research Grants
The Discovery Research Grants support innovative, investigator-led projects that advance our understanding of multiple sclerosis and improve the lives of those affected by it in four key impact areas: (i) advance treatment and care, (ii) enhance well-being, (iii) understand and halt disease progression and (iv) prevent multiple sclerosis. Funding is available for both biomedical and clinical/population health research.

Value and Duration
Up to $300,000 for up to three years.
The amount requested is expected to be within the $50,000 to $100,000 per year range. Budgets must not exceed $300,000.
Indirect costs are ineligible.
Eligibility
At the time of application and throughout the funding period, applicants must hold an academic or research appointment which allows the individual to pursue the proposed research project and engage in independent research activities, including supervise trainees and publish research activities.
Each applicant may submit only one application.
Special Requirements
The new CV template must be used by primary applicants and key personnel.
