Description
The program aims to support innovative research focused on the healthy human being, including both physical and spiritual dimensions, particularly in areas that remain underexplored but are suitable for rigorous scientific investigation.
Funding is available for projects in the fields of:
- Psychophysiology
- Parapsychology
The program does not support:
- Fundamental neuroscience projects without a direct psychophysiological component
- Clinical or experimental models of human disease and therapy
- Projects primarily focused on eating behaviour, sexual behaviour, or physical exercise
Funding Value
Up to €60,000 total per project.
Projects may be funded for a maximum duration of 3 years, with start dates between January 1 and October 31, 2027.
Eligibility Criteria
Open to scientific researchers, applying individually or as part of a team.
Applicants must not be employees of the Bial Foundation or Bial Group companies.
Researchers with ongoing Bial-funded projects may apply, but can only receive new funding after successful completion of those projects (by October 31, 2027)
Indirect costs are not eligible.
