Overview

FRESH aims to generate actionable, high-quality evidence to inform and improve school food policy, programming and practice across Canada. This funding opportunity supports intersectoral, interdisciplinary research led by a tripartite leadership team composed of researchers, decision-makers and knowledge users.

Value and Duration

The total amount available for this funding opportunity is $12,600,000, enough to fund approximately 14 grants. This amount may increase if additional funding partners participate. The maximum amount per grant is $300,000 per year for up to three years, for a total of $900,000 per grant.
