Horizon Europe: How to Apply
Horizon Europe applications are complex. Researchers are encouraged to seek guidance on institutional considerations. A mandatory internal review is part of this process.
Contacting the Research Facilitator, International Initiatives early in the planning stage allows us to provide updates on requirements and support throughout application development.
Eligibility
Full-time faculty members of professional rank (assistant, associate and full) at Carleton are eligible to apply.
Deadlines
Deadlines for submitting applications vary depending on each call for proposals.
Internal Process
Complete the internal Expression of Interest form.
- If you’re applying as a partner, submit the form at least two months prior to the application deadline.
- If you’re applying as a coordinator, submit the form at least eight months prior to the application deadline.
Submitting Your Application
- Log in to cuResearch, our central awards management database, and submit an internal Approval Form ten business days prior to the application deadline. Review the cuResearch user’s manual.
- Submit an external application to Horizon Europe through the EU Funding & Tenders Portal one business day prior to the application deadline.
