Overview
The Kenneth M. Molson Foundation will consider proposals for projects aimed at the promotion and development of:
- Aeronautical engineering education and research, aviation history and aviation libraries
- Wildlife research, conservation and habitat
Donations are made to charitable and educational organizations in Canada, with a significant emphasis on the above topics.
Value and Duration
The Foundation does not specify a maximum level of funding; however, typical grant requests have been between $25,000 and $50,000, but have been up to $95,000.
Donations are normally awarded for one year, with possible extensions depending on demonstrated satisfactory progress.
Eligibility
The Foundation provides donations for projects, not continuing programs. Donations are made to institutions on the assumption that all donated funds will be expended on the approved project.
Indirect costs are not eligible.
