Overview
The GOMRG program supports innovative lung cancer research spanning the continuum from high-impact basic discovery to translational research with direct clinical relevance. The program aims to advance knowledge and accelerate progress in the early detection of lung cancer and the understanding of lung cancer etiology across different populations and demographics. Applications are encouraged from researchers working in biomedical, clinical, health services, social and population health research. Projects with practical relevance to Canadians affected by lung cancer are especially encouraged.
Value and Duration
$25,000 for one year.
Note: Indirect costs are not eligible.
Eligibility
The GOMRG competition is open to researchers holding an academic or research appointment that supports independent research.
New investigators pursuing pilot, basic science or proof-of-concept projects are especially encouraged to apply. Please consult the program guidelines for full eligibility requirements.
