Carleton Office for Research Initiatives and Services
The Carleton Office for Research Initiatives and Services (CORIS) provides expert advice and support to the Carleton community throughout the research process from proposal development to award closeout.
As a service within the Office of the Vice-President (Research, Innovation and International) (OVPRII), CORIS collaborates with the Faculty Research Offices to support our research community in:
- Identifying research funding opportunities (large-scale and institutional grants)
- Strengthening grantsmanship through strategic advice and substantive review
- Accessing and using cuResearch (our awards management system)
- Facilitating post-award processes, including transfer of funds (sub-awards)
- Incentivizing, increasing and leveraging multi/interdisciplinary research through the Carleton REALISE program
