Innovation Fund

The Innovation Fund provides continued investments in infrastructure, across the full spectrum of research. Eligible infrastructure projects involve acquiring or developing research infrastructure to increase research capacity and support world-class research that will lead to social, health, environmental, or economic benefits for Canadians. The Innovation Fund intends to enhance and optimize the capacity of institutions and research communities to conduct the proposed research over the useful life of the infrastructure.

Total project costs must be greater than $1M to be considered for the Innovation Fund competition.
