The Royal Society of Canada (RSC) is Canada’s national academy of distinguished Canadian scholars, artists, and scientists. The primary objective of the RSC is to promote learning and research in the arts and sciences.

Fellowship
RSC Fellows are distinguished scholars from vast disciplines who have made remarkable contributions to the arts, humanities and sciences, as well as to Canadian society.
The RSC consists of over 2,500 Fellows selected by their peers for outstanding contributions to the natural and social sciences, the arts, and the humanities.

The College of New Scholars, Artists, and Scientists, established in 2014, is Canada’s first national system of multidisciplinary recognition for the emerging generation of Canadian intellectual leadership.
The Members have demonstrated a high level of achievement at an early stage in their careers. The criterion for election is excellence, and membership duration is seven years.
