The research should have the potential to contribute to the global response to the COVID-19 pandemic, or to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 and/or its negative consequences on people and communities.

Deadline: Continuous in-take and assessment until May 15, 2020.

Value: $10,000 to $25,000

Duration: One year, with mid-term update with preliminary results in six months.

Decision: Five to eight working days after submission. Please note that decisions are final. Re-submissions are not permitted unless requested by the committee.

Eligibility: All full-time tenured or tenure-track faculty members (Assistant, Associate or Full) at Carleton are eligible to apply. Only one application is permitted per Principal Investigator (PI). The research work has to address COVID-19 challenges and be able to be initiated immediately. The project should not have secured funding for the proposed research.
