Horizon Europe
Horizon Europe is the European Union’s flagship funding program for research and innovation, running from 2021 to 2027 with a total budget of €95.5 billion (CAD $140 billion).
The program aims to tackle global challenges, enhance European industrial competitiveness and align with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals.
Through Canada’s association with Pillar II of Horizon Europe, Carleton researchers can apply and receive funding for collaborative research under Global Challenges and European Industrial Competitiveness on the same terms as EU participants.
Visit the Horizon Europe website for more information, or view the available work programmes for 2025.
Carleton has recently joined Crowdhelix, a global innovation matchmaking network that promotes international collaborations, connecting our research community to a vibrant and interdisciplinary ecosystem.
