Carleton University Research Ethics Board-A

The Carleton University Research Ethics Board-A (CUREB-A) is comprised of members from representative departments and meets the minimum requirements of Research Ethics Board membership by the Tri-Council Policy Statement. The Office of Research Ethics and Security’s Human Ethics Coordinators support the CUREBs by providing administrative services along with key resources and supports for researchers.

CUREB-A reviews all applications for Human Research where the lead Carleton University researcher is in the:

CUREB-A holds monthly meetings virtually to review full board protocols, amendments and annual reviews.

New Submissions

We respond to new submissions in 2-5 business days, however October to March the response time may lengthen.
