1125@Carleton a Hotbed of Entrepreneurship

On Wednesday, Nov. 20th, Kim Matheson, vice-president (Research and International) will officially launch 1125@Carleton as part of the annual Association of Universities and Colleges of Canada Open Doors event.

Background:
1125@Carleton is an innovative new work space that promotes partnerships and collaborations across the university and beyond. It aims to facilitate the co-creation of solutions for sustainable communities through partnerships with Carleton researchers, faculty and students together with business, industry, community and governments at all levels. It provides resources and partnership opportunities to encourage entrepreneurial and inventive solutions that will make a difference. It is a Living Laboratory and a member of ENoLL – the European Network of Living Labs.

1125@Carleton is housed in a 7,500 sq. ft. facility overlooking the Rideau River. It offers a range of membership-based services including hot desks, offices, board rooms, workshop space and audio/visual conferencing. To learn more about membership, please visit carleton.ca/1125.
