The Norman Paterson School of International Affairs (NPSIA) at Carleton and the Centre for International Governance Innovation (CIGI) are honoured to host the launch of the 28th edition of the Canada Among Nations series, edited by NPSIA Director Dane Rowlands and CIGI President Rohinton Medhora.

Roy Culpeper
Instructor,Carleton University
Born in Karachi, Pakistan and educated at the University of Toronto, Culpeper is a distinguished research fellow as well as former president and CEO of the North-South Institute who began his career as an official with the World Bank. He is also a senior fellow of the University of Ottawa’s School of International Development and Global Studies, and adjunct professor at Carleton’s School of Public Policy and Administration.
John M. Curtis,
Adjunct Professor, Queen’s University
Curtis is currently a senior fellow with the C. D. Howe Institute, a professor at Queen’s University and the chair of Statistics Canada’s advisory committee on international trade. He also teaches economic policy at Carleton’s Norman Paterson School of International Affairs (NPSIA). He was the first chief economist for the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade and has held a number of public service positions over the past 35 years.
David Longworth
Former Deputy Governor of the Bank of Canada
Longworth was the deputy governor of the Bank of Canada between 2003 and 2010. He joined the Bank of Canada in 1974 in the Special Studies Division of the Research Department. Longworth was also a fellow at the C. D. Howe Institute between 2010 and 2013. He is a professor of economics at Carleton’s School of Public Policy and Administration.
