He will be giving a talk exploring how individual universities, university consortia and a massive European Union (EU) higher-education system are embracing the digital revolution and globalization.

When: Friday, March 27, 2015 from 1:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m.
Where: 2228 River Building, Carleton University
Registration: http://bit.ly/1LvDNnI

Note: Media are invited to join the Director-General for a tour of the Carleton Immersive Media Studio (CIMS). During the tour, Stephen Fai, director of CIMS, will discuss the Digital Campus Innovation (DCI) Project.

The second decade of the new millennium has heralded a seismic shift in higher education, driven by globalization, the digital revolution and the rising power of information driven consumerism across the globe. The lines between our campuses and wider communities are less distinct and technology is enabling new teaching and learning paradigms.
