Harden is an activist, writer and educator. He has spent much of his life as a university educator, community organizer and working in social justice organizations.
When writing, he tends to write about the intersection of protest and democracy. Quiet No More, his recent book, explores the role of grassroots activism in various places, and its impact on the world.
