butterfly-show-promo-2015Carleton’s popular annual Biology Butterfly Show will open on Saturday, Oct. 3, 2015 and runs until Monday, Oct. 12, 2015. The doors will be open each day between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. in the Nesbitt Biology Building. Admission is free, although donations are welcome.

For directions to the Nesbitt Building greenhouses please see the campus map. Parking in on-campus lots costs $4 for a day-pass.

The 10-day show features 1,300 butterflies that arrive in five separate shipments, representing 41 different species worldwide. More than 1,000 area students and 10,000 visitors came to the steamy greenhouse at the west side of Carleton’s campus for last year’s Butterfly Show.
