wind-turbines-iStockThe Carleton Centre for Community Innovation (3ci) will host a seminar on Oct. 20, 2015 called Why, Can and How Should Responsible Investors Address Climate Change?Dr. Ben Richardson, professor at the University of Tasmania, will discuss investors’ response to climate change. The seminar will critically assess the capacity of the financial sector to address climate change, highlighting the impediments and opportunities, and offering recommendations for new directions.

A panel discussion moderated by Susan Phillips, professor in the School of Public Policy and Administration, will follow. Respondents include 3ci director Tessa Hebb; Nancy Kyte, senior portfolio manager with Treasury, Export Development Canada; and Misha Voloaca, PhD student in Experimental Psychology and member of Fossil Free uOttawa.
