Canada Research Professor in Ecological Parasitology/ Wildlife Conservation

Mark Forbes is currently the Associate Vice-President Research, and is a Canada Research Professor in the Department of Biology. He is interested in the factors affecting host species range for parasitic and pathogenic organisms, including those with zoonotic potential for humans; and, in the factors influencing parasitism and contaminant levels in wildlife species, including those harvested for food.
